Mark Vitek, CPA, CFP(R) N.C. CPA Licence #13394 | Mark Vitek's career spans 25 years as a Certified Public Accountant, Certfied Financial Planner(TM) practitioner, and business owner. An entrepreneur himself, Mark understands his client's needs to minimize taxes, manage cash flow, and increase productivity. He knows the ins and outs of the tax law and how to legitimately and legally utilize them to every client's advantage. Mark's business has been built on his reputation for being honest, hard-working, proactive, persistent, and having a keen ability to pinpoint and help solve problems. Above all, he takes a personal interest in his clients and ensures their needs are met. A 1979 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he holds a BS degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. He became a CPA in 1982. Mark Vitek founded his company in December 1982 and serves as the President of the Raleigh based business. Prior to that, he worked from 1979 to 1982 with the CPA firm of Brittain, Gilbert, and Associates, CPAs, a high-quality, high-service tax and audit accounting firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 1991, he became a Certified Financial Planner(TM) practioner.  A native of Raleigh, Mark maintains an active role in business and accounting industry associations including the position of former chairman of the Long Range Planning Committee of the North Carolina Association of CPAs, as well as a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
